What is Truth? See what the Bible says!
"What is truth?" It's Pilate's famous question to Jesus during his interrogation before Jesus took the cross (John18:38). Truth is eternal, and seeking truth is the natural desire of our spirit, which leads us to knowing God and His Son Jesus Christ. We should always have a humble attitude of being hungry and thirsty for truth -then God will teach us and lead us to a deeper knowledge of Him. Check these verses and be encouraged to be a seeker of the knowledge of God.
Psalm 25:5 Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.
Psalm 43:3 Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling!
Psalm 86:11 Teach me your way, O LORD, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.
James 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
Matthew 22:16 And they sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying, "Teacher, we know that you are true and teach the way of God truthfully, and you do not care about anyone's opinion, for you are not swayed by appearances.
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
