How Did Jesus Describe Himself?
Are you prepared to outreach to those who haven't received Jesus as their Savior? Here is a list that you can use when you introduce Jesus Christ.
The woman said, "I know that Messiah" (called Christ) "is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us." Then Jesus declared, "I, the one speaking to you—I am he." (John 4:25-26)
Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty." (John 6:35)
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (John 8:12)
But he continued, "You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. (John 8:23)
Therefore Jesus said again, "Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep." (John 10:7)
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die." (John 11:25)
When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. "Do you understand what I have done for you?" he asked them. "You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am." (John 13:12-13)
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener." (John 15:1)
